Mau Consulting (“I,” “me,” or “this site”) respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information this website collects, what it does not, and how it is used. It applies to mauops.com.

The short version

I collect as little as possible. The site uses basic analytics to understand how many people visit and what they read, and the contact form collects the details you choose to send me so I can reply. That is it. I do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.

Tools that never see your files

Some pages on this site, such as the image converter, do their work entirely inside your web browser, on your own device. When you use a tool like that, your files are never uploaded, never stored, and never seen by me or anyone else. They do not leave your computer. The analytics described below still count that you visited the page, but they never involve the contents of your files.

Information collected automatically (analytics)

Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics to understand general traffic: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, what type of device they use, and how they move through the site. This is done with cookies and similar technology, and the information is aggregated. I use it to improve the site, not to identify you personally.

You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Google’s own handling of this data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Information you give me (contact form)

If you fill out the contact form, I collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company, your message, and your timeline. This is handled by a form service called Formspree, which delivers the message to me by email.

I use this information for one purpose: to respond to you and, if we work together, to carry out that work. I do not add you to a marketing list without your permission, and I do not sell or share your details with anyone outside of what is needed to reply to you.

Cookies

The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and are used to measure traffic as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work.

A few trusted services help run this site. Each has its own privacy practices:

How long information is kept

Children

This site is meant for business owners and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If this policy changes, I will update it here and change the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
